Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a half- marathon and eventually a marathon, and I want to be able to run when I'm old.  I'm still not sure about all I want to accomplish.

Personal:

I'm 16 and I do xc and track.  I have a little sister who I'm trying to get into running and a dad who runs a couple times a week.  I got started running because my friend Susannah invited me to come to summer xc freshman year- and I've loved running ever since!

Miles:This week: 8.00 Month: 33.00 Year: 547.00
Race: Wheeler Farm xc (2.93 Miles) 00:23:26, Place overall: 6
Total Distance
7.00

We did a couple miles of warm-up and cooldown.  After the race we did 10 hills, but they weren't very big.

I felt really good about my race.  I did about a 7:58 mile, and was 5th for the team.  If I had passed one girl a little more efficiently, we would have gotten a perfect score.  Next time I need to gain a little more distance over people when I pass them, but overall it was a great race.
